All the data, with no more spreadsheets or manual clipping.
Late at night, after the game had finished, I used to sit in a dark room replaying footage, tracking every stat by hand. It was slow and repetitive work, and most teams never even got that far, because it takes too much time and effort to maintain. At the professional level every movement is tracked and whole teams exist just to analyse performance, but outside that world, everyone else is left making decisions on instinct and memory. The data doesn't exist for a lot of these teams.
We built Superstat to close that gap. Instead of manually breaking down games, teams can upload footage and get back player stats, event timelines, and patterns across games automatically, powered by a system that recognises players, tracks the ball, and captures the actions that make up a game. This wasn't a new problem for us. We had each spent years drawn to sport and data in our own ways, and Superstat came out of a shared belief that understanding a game more deeply leads to better decisions.
Everything clicked when coaches started using it in their own workflows. What used to take entire weekends now happens automatically, freeing coaches up to actually review the game instead of documenting it. Individual sports like running, cycling, and swimming have already made data part of how people train, and we think team sports are heading the same way. Our goal is simple: if you play a team sport, your games should exist in data, not just the final score, so improvement can come from something real instead of guesswork.
We'll handle the data, so you can continue to enjoy the game.
